Strange Creatures
The Zoology series consists of short pieces designed to offer new challenges to players at varying exam grade levels The music combines a wide range of technical features with musical styles which complement mainstream repertoire. Although the writing accommodates the limits of smaller hands, the music should prove useful and enjoyable to developing instrumentalists of any age.
The first volume in the series includes nine pieces for piano at the Grade 3-5 level. I have various other pieces for different ensembles which simply (!) require pre-publication editing In the meantime, here is a cover (beautifully hand-crafted by Andrea Platts) and some audio files:
