My name is Geoffrey Walker and I am a composer, writer and keyboard player from Scotland who now lives in Yorkshire.
This website will tell you something about me (and others) and let you hear examples of my composition. If you like my work, and would like me to write some music for your group, then have a look at the Commissions page. I don't usually charge amateur groups for this service, although I prefer to write music which will receive a public performance. I am professionally trained, so this is your chance to obtain a well-crafted piece without payment.
I'm particularly interested in writing for ensembles of the same type of instrument (viola quartets, flute choirs, saxophone ensembles and so forth). So if you play in a Bassoon Quintet which is presently languishing for lack of repertoire, then get in touch - I enjoy a challenge!
